Know the Bible
Graduates will have an increased knowledge of the Bible and will be able to “accurately handle the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) as they preach, teach, evangelize, disciple, lead, plant churches, develop ministries, and equip believers.
Understand Fundamental Theology
Graduates will have a clear understanding of the fundamental theology of the historic Christian faith, be able to foster theological maturity in the body of Christ, and protect the church from being “carried away by every wind of doctrine” (Eph. 4:12-14).
Continuationism (the belief that God continues to speak and act in miraculous ways in the present age) is a core distinctive of this graduate school. Courses will be taught from this perspective and students will be well-versed in and able to articulate and defend this distinctive based on biblical, systematic, and historical theology with awareness of other approaches to this perspective.
Operate in Spiritual Gifts
Students will be able to identify and operate in the spiritual gifts as well as the five-fold ministry gifts (1 Cor. 12; Romans 12; Eph. 4).
Identify Christ-like Character
Students will be able to identify the elements of Christ-like character and will walk in integrity, humility, honor of others, and the nine fruits of the Spirit.
Disciple, Pray, Intercede
Graduates will be mentored in the basics of discipleship, prayer, and intercession including the commanded instructions to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, and minister to the poor.
Bless the Church Graduates will bless the whole Church beyond the networks of International Christian Leadership Connections and the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening. They will work for unity with the other denominations and apostolic networks in the Church and will also impact the theological community by furthering their education in the best divinity schools and seminaries in the world.
Our Mission Statement
Family of Faith Christian University was founded by the decree of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of educating, discipling, and training laborers for the Kingdom of God. FFCU equips students, or laborers, spiritually, academically, and practically to accomplish the Great Commission through effective service in churches, Christian schools, and businesses. FFCU exists to provide higher education and training in the unique environment of the New Testament pattern of church government. This government and oversight, both in churches and in the university, is provided by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers working as members of teams bound together in deep covenant relationships.
